Starting his training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London in 1998, Mr Singh went on to obtain his BSc. (Hons) in Optometry and Visual Science in 1999. He worked as a resident optometrist for a number of years for different corporate Opticians groups, where he carried out a range of daily tasks such as routine eye examinations and contact lens work.

In 2004 Mr Singh undertook specialist glaucoma training at Peterborough City Hospital and began work as a hospital optometrist, screening both new and existing glaucoma patients. He has remained in this role for the past 10 years and has also joined the Medical Retina Clinic, where he specialises in the care of diabetics. He is also a key member of the Uveitis Clinic at Peterborough City Hospital, where he diagnoses and treats a full range of eye diseases. He is also experienced in performing YAG laser capsulotomies.

Mr Singh has achieved both his Professional and Higher Certificate in Glaucoma and Diploma in Independent Prescribing. He remains focused on the research and treatment of diabetic retina eye screening using slit-lamp technology and is continuing his ongoing roles at Peterborough City Hospital.
