We’ve been providing NHS eye care in the East of England since 2007 and will be expanding across the UK throughout the remainder of 2022 and beyond. We offer a range of services including: Cataract, Yag Laser Treatment, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics and General Ophthalmology.

Role Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated individual to be the main point of contact for our community partners. As a Community Relationship Manager you will be highly visible within the community, building local relationships to promote ACES and the eye care services we provide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and growth of referrals into ACES services in a designated geographical area.
  • To clearly promote the benefits of the referral system to the referrer and where possible the patient.
  • To regularly analyse referral data to identify services that may require additional support with engagement and marketing plan delivery.
  • Assist in the co-ordination of, attend and promote events to support the engagement of stakeholders.
  • Identify market share potential through analysing territories.
  • You will work in close partnership with the ACES clinic manager and team as well as the Community Relationship Executives/Managers in other territories.
  • Manage account relationships reporting daily on Salesforce system.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience of working within a multi-site clinical environment and knowledge of NHS policy landscape would be advantageous however is not essential.
  • Previous experience of working in an optical or an ophthalmic environment would be beneficial.
  • Developing plans to deliver targets.
  • Experience in promoting a service to multiple clients.
  • Working in the field with regular travel.
  • Working as a remote worker.
  • Account management or sales experience.
  • Must have a driving license (age 25 or over for insurance)
  • Ability to route plan to maximise meetings.
  • Knowledge of CRM software.
