Ophthalmologist

ACES is an independent provider of NHS eye care outpatient and surgical services that are delivered in the community. Working with state-of-the-art technologies we support the NHS, providing patients with the highest standards of clinical care. We provide a range of services including Cataract, YAG and SLT Laser Treatment, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics and General Ophthalmology.

Due to expansion, exciting opportunities exist for ophthalmologists to perform a range of NHS services with ACES.

Your role will include:

• Undertaking in-person outpatient clinics across the range of specialities we offer to patients.
• Overseeing glaucoma care as part of a virtual ophthalmology ophthalmologist led service.
• Delivering laser clinics.
• Providing clinical support to our other Allied Health Clinicians.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a consultant ophthalmologist.
• Have a special interest in one or more of the services provided.
• Be articulate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be confident and organised.
• Be happy to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
