We’ve been providing NHS eye care in the East of England since 2007 and will be expanding across the UK throughout 2024 and beyond. We offer a range of services including Cataract, Yag Laser Treatment, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics and General Ophthalmology

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager who will be responsible for interactions with key decision makers at the NHS, for example within Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) in England and Health Boards in other areas of the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- developing & maintaining contractual relationships with ICBs in England (plus comparative bodies in other jurisdictions) to deliver ophthalmic services for patients in the local area
- maintaining strong relationships with bodies where contracts are held, seeking to offer additional support & ensure contractual obligations are met
- co-ordinate and project management of the development of new processes to fulfil contractual obligations
- respond to tender opportunities and project manage support required from across the business in order to be able return the best possible tender response, aiming to win new business
- develop new systems to support the business with tenders & contractual responsibilities e.g. tender library
- attend key strategic meetings with partner organisations to work for mutual benefit & ensure business is appraised of new strategy & central government directive
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience of working within a multi-site clinical environment and knowledge of NHS policy landscape would be advantageous however is not essential.
- Previous experience of working in an optical or an ophthalmic environment would be beneficial.
