Get to know our ACES team: Q&A with Jessica Davidson, NHS Partnership Executive for ACES Milton Keynes

We had a chat with Jessica Davidson, who was appointed as the NHS Partnership Executive for our ACES clinic in Milton Keynes. Striving for growth is at the forefront of her personal values, so she was keen to join a business where she can leave her own stamp and make a difference!

  • What were you doing previously?

Prior to joining ACES, I was an NHS Partnership Executive for CHEC. So I’m actually seeing a lot of familiar faces in my new team!

  • What first attracted you to join ACES?

From a patient’s perspective, I was attracted to ACES by their state of the art equipment and high-specification technology, with patient care being at the forefront of the business values. Career wise, I was drawn to their exciting opportunities for growth and progression.

  • Can you explain what your role with ACES involves?

As an NHS Partnership Executive, I will be visiting opticians in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, talking to the community about the promising services we can offer to ensure their patients have the best experience in their journey to optimum eye care within ACES.

  • What are you most excited about?

I’m thrilled to be a key player in reducing waiting times for NHS patients.

  • Is there anyone who has inspired you during your career?

My partner Harry, for his unwavering ambitious to never give up and believe everything is possible.

  • What is the best piece of advice that you’ve ever received?

If in doubt, zoom out. If you compare yourself to the position you were in three months ago or a year ago, you will see how far you’ve come!

  • What are you most proud of?

It sounds kind of cliché, but I’m most proud of my 2-year old daughter Macey.

  • What would you do if you won the lottery?

I would do a few things for myself and my family – I would buy a Porsche Cayenne and a Celine bag, travel Asia, fly my parents first class, pay a cleaner and take my daughter to Disneyland! I would also save some to donate money to a children’s and dog charity.
