Mr Khalid Riaz is a highly skilled, expert eye Doctor, with over 20 years of experience working in Consultant Ophthalmologist roles across many of the UK and Ireland’s most distinguished hospitals and healthcare institutions. With a professional journey beginning in his native Pakistan, Mr Riaz spent a decade refining his knowledge and expertise in a wide range of ophthalmic procedures and conditions before bringing his skillset to the UK, where further qualifications were obtained in 2002.

Throughout his years in the field of ophthalmic care, Mr Riaz has helped thousands of his patients achieve visual freedom, with his expertise in cataract surgery, cornea, oculoplastic, and general ophthalmology. Having delivered over 11,000 cataract procedures, he has contributed significantly improving the lives of his patients through bringing high quality eye care to local communities all the way from Cork, to Newport, to Newcastle.
